About the "MY NYIT" YouTube Video Contest

We were looking for students to create videos about life at NYIT. Each video entry focused on a student's life at NYIT, both academically and socially. Contestants were asked to make videos that were creative, interesting, informative, highlighted diversity on campus, and depicted NYIT in a positive manner. Video submissions were required to be free of violence, nudity, illegal behavior, and offensive language. All videos were subject to approval by the NYIT Office of Admissions.

All contestants were required to submit an entry form upon uploading a video to YouTube. All videos had to be uploaded prior to April 15. Winners were determined by the number of hits the videos received between April 15 and May 15. Each student was responsible for creating their own "buzz" for their videos to ensure receiving the most number of hits. For any questions, please e-mail the Office of Admissions or call 516.686.1015.
