If you plan to live in a residence hall, your acceptance materials will give you information about when you can move in. It will provide lots of useful information about the residence hall facilities and policies, what you should bring (and not bring), and what to expect on the day of the move.
On the date you are scheduled to move in, NYIT staff members will be on hand to help you find your room and move in. We suggest that you do not arrive too early, as this could actually delay your moving-in process. Residence halls will not be open prior to the day you are scheduled to move in.
