New York Women in Communications, Inc. New York Women in Communications Foundation Scholarships	Features job bulletin which includes some entry level and internship positions. Click “students” for scholarship and internship information. The annual student career conference will be held every November in New York City. Features panels on journalism, public relations, advertising, and entertainment. Scholarships totaling $60,000. Deadline is every January. Eligibility: undergrad/grad students majoring in advertising, communications, journalism, new media. Must be a permanent resident of NY, NJ, CT or PA.
Center for Communications	This site allows students everywhere to tap into the seminars via audio-streaming and transcripts. The site also contains current job listings and contacts for jobs in journalism, print, new media, film and television production, advertising, music and radio. It includes valuable career tips and strategies from movers and shakers in the business, links to thousands of media companies and organizations, and seminar listings and bios of our speakers.
New York Foundation for the Arts	This site is an information resource for design, media arts, visual arts, performing and literary artists. It is the largest national database of opportunities for artists and includes information on internship and job opportunities, grants, scholarships, equipment, etc.
Advertising Women of New York Career Conference	A special opportunity for college students to attend a career conference and to network with some of the top creative people in the field of advertising. Held every November in New York City.
Advertising Week	Annual September event consisting of panels, exhibits, and conferences related to advertising, media and marketing industries held in New York City.

The Public Policy and International Affairs Fellowship Program	The PPIA Fellowship Program is designed to prepare students, primarily from historically underrepresented groups, for graduate studies in public and/or international affairs and groom them for professional roles in public service. There is an array of opportunities under the fellowship which span a period of development from the junior year of college to beyond the completion of a graduate degree.
Institute for Humane Studies	SCHOLARSHIPS, FELLOWSHIPS, CONTESTS Felix Morley Journalism Competition for Students offers cash prizes up to $2,500 for outstanding young writers whose articles published in student newspapers or other periodicals exhibit strong writing ability and an appreciation of liberty. Math for America	The Newton Fellowship Program is looking for mathematically sophisticated individuals to teach in NYC public high schools. The fellowship provides stipends, full tuition scholarship for master's, mentoring, coaching, and professional development.
